Panels 15–23 · The enforcer

Reading guide, not a title printed on the comic. Rights Put to Sleep numbers its panels. These section labels only group lines that are already lettered.

Steps, laughs, and tears become clear data. The machine takes the enforcer’s job, with no mercy and no soul, and a bench with no judge hands down sentences from code. The chorus puts the Bill of Rights to sleep again.
